Hi Jill, I'm an ex-pat from England and would love to know where to get a lovely cabbage, all I see in NW Sydney are horrible white footballs with a couple of green leaves attached.
Try Greg or Michelle at block11organics@gmail.com; they grow beautiful hispis, and are based in the Hawkesbury, so may have a stockist near you. Good luck!
Love always the clever, simple things you present for us; Terry’s assistance is always noted and appreciated; and I love the political/moral flag you plant. I too support the referendum to
acknowledge the place of indigenous people as the first occupants of this land.
Thank you for the heads up in another new vegetable, well variety of. We love cabbage and roasted it is great, I like the charred taste if I happen to overcook a tad, just like if, and I haven’t done it for years, I have burnt boiled potatoes, reminds me of my childhood when we would throw potatoes in the open fire until they were blackened and so soft and fluffy inside. I will check out our local IGA to see if they have them in stock, none of the other stores are near where we live.

My mother would always be excited when the Savoy cabbages were available. Many years ago - funny little memories ❤️ Love you informative posts
I absolutely love your writing and the recipes you share. Thanks for all your hard work over the years. It is appreciated.
