The late QE2 was good for standing tips as she had to do a lot of it. Always stand squarely on both feet, she said. And when waving to crowds (or stirring a pot, for that matter) use the wrist and don't flap your arm.

Thanks for this recipe Jill, I have the start of San Choy Bau in the freezer due to over planning last week when I was unable to be in the kitchen due to surgery, as we have a few warm days coming up this will make a delicious meal with all your additions.

Thanks Jill, love your words landing in my email, we're having this wrap for dinner tonight. BTW your book New Food sits in my collection and is so beautifully worn and splattered on; my son (just younger than that book) now grabs it and recreates favourite meals and cakes. thanks Jill, sang chow bau tonight and I'm using yam bean peeled and diced instead of water chestnuts, a suggestion from my excellent mixed green and other grocery store across the road.(because he had run out of w c 's) A root vegetable that eats raw as well; crisp like a cross between an apple and a potato.Its found in other asian stir fries very similar to S.C B. I'll let you know.
