Made this last night! Yummmm!!! So lovely for a quick midweek meal of goodness!

As you suggested Jill, I used the gochujang chilli option for added flavour depth (so nice). I have rocket, limes, parsley and chillis in the garden so folded roughly chopped rocket through the sauce just prior to serving, finished with a sprinkle of finely sliced fresh chilli and parsley, a little squeeze of fresh lime with generous cracks of black pepper. The cooked down crushed anchovy/garlic mix adds a lot of yummmm too!!

Thank you so much Jill!

It was simple, healthy, fresh and delicious. Most importantly, β€˜twas given a thumbs up by my wifeβ€¦πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‹πŸ™

OMG! Yum! Could I ask where you are buying those brands in Sydney?

I get Cuca from Harris Farm (also the yellow label can was from there) - or if they are out of it, put in an online order for sardines, anchovies and tuna all at once to Alimentaria in Melbourne, who import Cuca (they're aligned with MoVida restaurant also). The Continental Deli Bar Bistro in Newtown has a great range also, or used to. Hope that helps!

Another belter Jill! Made it with sardines from Woollies (Sole Mare Portuguese style) and it was fab. Imagine how much better with the top-shelf tins! Thank you ❀️

Hi Jill. Years ago I heard you and Terry present at MFWF and also Lyndey Milan. Lyndey talked about her new book which I had just bought. The next day I bought fresh sardines and used her baked recipe. 2 bites. Nup. Couldn’t do it. Haven’t done it since πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Mum was shattered with disappointment. Sardines on toast was one of her most favourite things.Ever. Sorry Mum. Sorry Jill. But I’ll make it with tuna in oil 😊
